Radiosurgery is defined as the targeted destruction of pathological cells in a tumor or lesion without causing significant damage or radiation induced effects to the surrounding normal tissue [12]. The classic indication of GKRS was limited for the treatment of intracranial and functional neurologic disorders. However today its scope has expanded including even the upper cervical spine lesions.
